Kensie came to me after a conversation with a close family member of mine. She represents so many young women I have come across in my life. She’s a woman who has battled with insecurities and let downs, and is attempting to rise above them and find her place in the world.
Kensie’s primary let down is a struggling relationship with her father. What once was a healthy and happy father daughter bond faded when her parents separated and he remarried. The abandonment Kensie feels plagued with makes it difficult for her to form healthy and trusting attachments, but she wants to. More than anything Kensie wants to find someone she can trust and love and move on from her past.
That desire to move makes up a large part of Kensie’s personality. Not only is she a dancer who seeks solace in the movement and music, but she has vowed to herself to begin finding her purpose. She is determined and brave facing her deepest fears and conquering her desires. Meeting August only encouraged Kensie to continue down the path of seeking personal strength she had already begun on her own.

About the Author:
Kim is a binge reader, devouring books one after another. She's creates characters and stories in the same way maintaing a notebook of thoughts and ideas. Truth in Wildflowers is the first time two characters have found a home in a full length book.
