A Little Gardening Tip
Hello and welcome to my little gardening patch on the Authors in Bloom blog hop! My gardening tip actually pertains more to houseplants than to actual gardens, though it could probably apply there as well! And it is this: ween. Whenever you see leaves that are yellowed, dried out, or both, pull them off. This not only makes the plant look nicer without all that dead stuff on it, but it also allows the plant to grow more. Kind of like trimming your hair to get rid of split ends so it will grow!
Contest Time!
As part of the hop, I am giving away an e-copy of my book, Sloane Wolf - perfect for a Nook or a Kindle - to a participant on this blog. This is open internationally. Please leave a comment with your email address to be entered. Extra entries for following my blog - if you already do, make sure to say so! - just leave in a separate comment. Thanks and good luck!

And now for my phrases! Don't forget to collect them and add them to the others on the hop to form the story for your chance at the grand prize of a Nook or Kindle!
