A young college woman gets schooled in life, sex, and love in New York Times bestselling author Sophie Jordan’s sizzling New Adult romance series—where three Ivy League suite-mates testing their boundaries as they seek higher knowledge of just how far they can go
A born flirt and good-time party girl, Emerson has never had a problem finding a willing guy. She’s always chosen her hook-ups carefully, and she's never broken her three cardinal rules:
Never let them see the real you.
Never fall in love.
Always leave them begging for more.
Then comes Shaw. A hotty from the wrong side of the tracks, he’s immune to her flirtatious banter and come-hither smile. After rescuing her from a disastrous night at a biker bar, he doesn’t even try to take her to bed—he calls her a tease and sends her home instead. Unable to resist a challenge, or forget the sexy dark-eyed bad-boy biker, she vows to bring him to his knees.
But instead of making Shaw beg, she finds herself craving him. For the first time in her life, she’s throwing out her rulebook. Suddenly, she’s the one panting for a guy she can’t control. A guy who won’t settle for anything less than the real Emerson, who forces her to do things she’s never imagined, including facing a past she thought she'd buried.

My Thoughts:
New Adult is one of my favorite genres and books like Tease are a good reason why. I just love reading books set in the college atmosphere because I never got to experience it for myself (I ended up attending college later in life and commuted). I don't know what it is about the college atmosphere that draws me in, but I love it. So sign me up! Anyway, this entry into the New Adult category was fun to read. I loved the characters and the situations they found themselves in. Poor Emerson! This book starts out with a bang for her - almost literally - when she inadvertently starts a brawl in a biker bar and finds herself in need of rescuing not once, but twice. Once, from the actual fight itself, and then from the bar when her friends abandon her there. And boy, is she rescued! The rescuer is Shaw and he is the epitome of the sexy Alpha hero. He has a lot of baggage carried over from his stint in the military, which includes guilt over his cousin's death overseas. Their chance encounter in the bar sets these two up for one hell of a ride in which Emerson tries her best to control Shaw (she has huge issues with giving up even an ounce of control, which plays a huge part in the overall story) and he doesn't comply with her wishes. She fast learns he's unlike any of the boys she's used to dealing with and won't play along with her games; soon, he's flipping the switch and taking control - of her. It scares the hell out of her and yet, she can't help but go back for more. She is drawn to Shaw in a way she never was with any other guy and he's just as intrigued by her. Their romance is nothing shy of rocky, but it's true and heartwarming and satisfying. I loved this book and I would highly recommend it.
