Cover Reveal: The Regretful Lies Duet by Gina Azzi with Giveaway ($50 Amazon gift card + ebook copies of The Regretful Lies Duet)

Title: Broken Lies
Series: The Regretful Lies Duet #1
Author: Gina Azzi
Genre: Contemporary Romance
Release Date: March 23, 2020

Blurb

The most dangerous lies are the ones we tell ourselves.

Zoe Clark doesn’t stand a chance.

As Hollywood’s favorite piece of man-candy, I’ve screwed hotter and blown off sexier.

But listening to my new personal trainer shout commands while on location in the Seychelles is its own kind of sweet torture.

Because her wicked curves, smart mouth, and violet-streaked hair captivate me more than they piss me off.

She makes me feel again when I’m desperate to remain numb.

Trusting her is a mistake, confiding in her is my downfall.

Because all her pretty words are lies laced with deceit.

Excerpt

“I don’t trust myself around you, Violet.” I offer her the words, a pathetic attempt to explain the things I refuse to admit out loud.
“Why?” she whispers.
“Because I’ll only end up letting you down.”
“You don’t know that.”
“I do. I’ll let you down because I’ll never want more than the moment. Than the now. And eventually, you will.”
“You’re giving yourself a lot of credit here, Hollywood.”
Smirking, my hands settle on her hips once more. My fingers rub the flimsy fabric of her dress, pulling it taut. I want to rip it from her body, lay her down on the white sand, and take everything she offers.
I won’t take her slowly. And it sure as fuck won’t be sweet.
I want to devour her in a carnal way that imprints on the backs of her eyelids, so every time she closes her eyes, each fucking blink, she sees me. I will ruin her for every man who comes afterwards. Consume her entirely until she combusts, the only proof of my pillage a goddamn sand angel, to be drowned in the sea before dawn.
“Then prove me wrong, Violet.” It’s the last out I give her, a small pause.
A gasp drops from her lips.  Her eyes shine, a glorious gold that will undoubtedly dim the longer she knows me. It’s subtle, the way her back arches. The flutter of her eyelashes, small half-moon shadows brushing against the delicate curve of her cheeks.
It’s everything. It’s the permission I need to drop my head and take. Drink the sweetness of her intentions. Steal the light that resides in her soul.
Corrupt her brightness and let it meld with all the dark that fills the cavity of my chest.

Title: Twisted Truths
Series: The Regretful Lies Duet #2
Author: Gina Azzi
Genre: Contemporary Romance
Release Date: April 2, 2020

Blurb

Some truths are twisted tighter than lies.

Forcing Eli to hate me shatters my heart.

It devastates me more than watching him fall back into the arms of his ex-girlfriend.

It cuts deeper than pretending I don’t care.

But I do it to protect his future happiness; I do it for him.

Eli swallows the lies I feed him and exhales them as twisted truths.

He discovers my secret and embraces the anguish crippling my soul.

Relentless. Determined. Desperate.

I couldn’t push him away again if I tried.

And I’m done trying.

Springing to my feet, I square my shoulders, and meet his gaze head-on. Dark gray storm clouds swirl, uncontrollable. He bites down on the corner of his mouth, kicking one foot up behind him, the sole of his shoe banging against the door.
Standing my ground, I hold his tortured perusal, unwilling to blink first.
“Lila.” He rasps, his eyelids hooded.
“Cade.”
“Why’d you run?”
“I had to go to the bathroom.”
The left side of his mouth twitches and he pushes off the bathroom door, another step closer to me. “No, you didn’t. You couldn’t get out of the room fast enough.”
“You think?”
“It was shitty of me to put you on the spot like that in front of all those people.”
“I told you I don’t want a…thing.” I gesture between us.
“I know. But this thing,” he steps closer, crowding me, “it’s not going anywhere.”
I shuffle back until I’m pressed against the bathroom wall opposite the door. This damn bathroom is suffocating, overflowing with Cade’s presence. Cade’s forearm settles next to my head, boxing me in. His mouth is only inches from mine, his tongue darting out to swipe across his bottom lip.
I groan, my body involuntarily arching toward his. Jesus, what is wrong with me? And what is he thinking? Who could have a proper argument with all of these… distractions?
“I shouldn’t have done that, blown up your spot, tossed all that attention your way. But babe,” he drops his forehead to mine, his breath fluttering over my lips like an invitation I desperately want to RSVP yes to, “I hated that so many people threw shade your way. Every comment I heard pissed me off so much more because it was said about you, not me. And I won’t let any of these people talk shit about you.” He jabs a finger toward the party transpiring outside of the smallest bathroom that ever existed. “And I’m not going to apologize for looking out for you.”
“Cade,” I’m breathless, quivering for him to stop talking and start touching. But I need to be strong, resolute … honest. “I’m leaving in four months. I don’t do –”
“Serious, I know. Me either.” His nose brushes against mine and I shiver. Shiver! “But give me a shot, Lila. I’m not going to wifey you. Just let me take you out, kick it with me, come to my games and rock my number, give it a chance.”
“What if it’s too much?”
His fingers close around my hips, tugging until my belly button is flush against his jeans. Jesus. Need pools within me and as his fingertips grip harder, his body grinding against mine, I whimper, desperate for relief from the wildfire consuming me.
“What if it’s too damn good?” he angles his head lower, his bottom lip ghosting mine. “Let me light you up until we burn out. Babe, I’m not feeding you lines. I want you, Lovely.”

Excerpt

When I get to the door, I turn quickly, and she stumbles back a step, as if I’ve caught her off guard. I reach out to steady her, and my hand lingers on her shoulder, my fingers brushing against the inside of her arm.
She inhales sharply, her eyes widening as they flicker over my lips.
Damn it.
Everything between us is too much, too real.
“Daisy.” My voice is low, and I struggle to control the torrent of emotions that flood me as I stare at her upturned face. I want to pull her flush against me and kiss her senseless as much as I want to turn around and leave. Memories from Christmas flood back. I don’t know what’s going on between us. I had said the words to her on Christmas Day and yet, they ring true now.
The tension between us crackles with energy as I drink in her multi-colored eyes, so bright and intense, I could drown in them. Open desire mixed with anticipation flickers across her expression as she boldly meets my gaze.
Mesmerized by her, conflicted by the emotions running through me, my hands clench into fists. My fingers itch to wrap in her hair, my mouth begs to cover hers. Hell yes, I want her. But I respect her too bloody much to make her one more girl in my long list of one-night stands. Besides the obvious reasons why Daisy and I shouldn’t hook up – we now work together and she’s Sierra’s best friend – she’s also younger, more impressionable, and idealistic. I’m not the man for her, and I never will be, which is why I force myself to lean forward and brush a casual kiss across her cheek. “Make sure you lock the door behind me.”
I hear a small catch in her breath but when I pull back, she regards me carefully. Her face impassive, her posture stiff, she holds the door open. “Night, Finn. Thanks again.”
“See you, Dais.”  I step into the hall and walk down the flight of stairs, pausing until I hear the deadbolt latch. Sighing, I scrub my palm over my face. What the hell was that? Blowing out an exhale, I can still smell the vanilla from her shampoo and feel the soft, smooth skin of her cheeks.
I couldn’t forget about Daisy if I tried.
And trust me, I’ve tried.
