It was him. The guy I’d flirted with at the bar last week.
Connor.
His dark hair was messy and tousled. His jeans were rumpled
and he had a leather jacket slung over one shoulder.
Connor looked just as handsome with his sleepy eyes and
wrinkled clothes as he had the first time I’d met him. Maybe even more so. It
looked less like he was trying to impress. Instead, his attractive appearance
was effortless.
Then I noticed a hint of a red lipstick stain on his collar.
Warning bells went off in my head. They all said one thing:
Player.
“It’s a pleasure to meet you, Quinn,” Connor drawled. “I
can’t wait to work with you.”
His dark eyes trailed a path down my body, taking in every
