My Thoughts:
There was just so much to like about this book, I don't know where to start. I guess I could start with the author. Between her Crow brothers books and now this, I am fast becoming a fan of hers - with this book, I think she just made my list of go-to authors and this book is a good representation of why. She just writes the most amazing characters, the kind you wish you were your friends and want to spend so much time with and when it's over, you're sad because you won't see them again. Unless they crop up in cameos in other books (wink). Bad Reputation is filled with those kind of characters. Sure, there were a few I wanted to give a good shaking to, but the rest were great and so fun to read about (I'm looking at you, Bennett). In the beginning, Ally might seem to fall into the annoying category with her disappearing acts and seeming lack of commitment, but when you discover the reason why she's like that, it takes this story in a whole different direction. That's when the gas is hit hard and it doesn't let up until the ending - it's full throttle all the way then. And what a ride it is! I won't give anything away because you really just need to read it for yourself unspoiled, but I will say the ending is just as it should be and very satisfying. I will say this, though: Hutton Everest is one sexy son-of-a-gun and not just in the way he looks, but in the way he supports the woman he loves. He is a true prince among men.
