Elizabeth Reyes Read-A-Long and Gveaway: Rage

rage-day3

What happened in chapters 13 - 18?:

In this portion of Rage, AJ and Addison are dealing with some of AJ’s jealousy issues. He sees her talking to an ex-boyfriend of hers, and thinks they exchanged numbers again, but Addison is quick to reassure him that she was just bragging about her daughter - he’s happily married and she’s happily taken by AJ.
But then Clair tells AJ that she thinks she heard Addison talking to her dad, which brings all of AJ’s insecurities back to the forefront, especially with everything going on with his brother and his shady girlfriend, Kelli and the fact that they haven’t really told anyone they’re together. AJ starts to relax a little when they tell Kelli’s parents about them.
Something happened with Isaiah on a job that landed him in the hospital with a possible spinal injury, so AJ and Addison leave immediately to go be with his family. Isaiah is possibly thinking about quitting as a fireman to work in the family business - as hired protective services.
When AJ and Addison are with his family, Addison starts to notice something weird about Kelli and Isaiah, but she decides not to share it with AJ, because she knows his temper and feels like she doesn’t have enough information about it.
Favourite Quote:
“You know you’re terrifyingly adorable when you’re jealous.”
"That thing everyone calls rage, I always called passion. I love your passion. It’s undeniable in everything about you: your love for the game, your family . . . me."

Discussion Question:

  • What do you think is going on with Kelli? Do you think she’s being as shady as AJ seems to think?
  • If you were Addison, would you have told AJ what you've noticed about Kelli?

rageAbout RAGE

Having made it to the major leagues, AJ "Rage" Romero is determined to shake the stigma his temper has earned him over the years. He's finally managed a shaky hold of that elusive self-control. Until he meets them . . . Without warning, his coach and mentor's brilliantly gifted granddaughter Clair and her equally amazing mother Addison Lara blow into AJ's life. The harder he falls for Addison, the closer and more attached he becomes to Clair. Having fallen so fast and hard, he agrees to respect the understandably protective single mother's wish to forever keep the identity of Clair's absent father unknown to everyone--including AJ. But when the ugly truth about Clair's dad begins to surface, the fire in AJ's fiercely possessive heart is lit. As more of the troubling reality comes to light, his zero tolerance for secrets and dishonesty put his temper--and his love for Addison--to the ultimate test. Self-control has never felt so impossible. RAGE is a STANDALONE sexy romance with a alpha male hero that will make you tremble. It has an HEA and NO cliffhanger!! It is suitable for ages 17+
